d19d7871e720ef0fe806a0ea701e5d87Hello and welcome! As the domain name says, my name is Jamie Post. I’m an Edmonton resident, living in a mature community in Edmonton’s west end.

By day, I’m a communications coordinator, working in Alberta’s disability sector to support community service providers around the province, and to bring awareness to their work and the issues face by persons with developmental disabilities and those who support them.

By evening and weekend, most of my free time goes towards volunteer work. I’m a civics director for my local community league, I’ve served on the boards of two organizations dedicated to community revitalization in the Jasper Place area, as well as one of Edmonton’s charitable organizations. I also serve as a district representative on the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues planning committee, and as a citizen-at-large on the City of Edmonton’s Naming Committee.

Both my paid and volunteer work involves politics and public policy, and I’m privileged to be able to make a positive difference in the lives of others. On occasion, I find time to write (and sometimes shout) about the issues I come across. So thanks for visiting and I hope you’ll find what you read here to at least be a little bit interesting.

If you’d like to contact me, I can always be reached at contact {at} jamiepost.com.

Cheers, and thanks for visiting!
